The Gambia is in Western Africa, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean and Senegal.

Drinking Water and Sanitation

About 90% of the population has access to improved water, but only about 40% of the population has access to improved sanitation facilities. The prevalence of waterborne disease is a significant public health concern. [1]
