Equatorial Guinea is a small (28,051 km2) country comprised of area on Africa's mainland and several islands. It borders the Bight of Biafra and the mainland portion is bordered by Cameroon and Gabon. The country is one of the largest oil producers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Drinking Water and Sanitation

Approximately half the population has access to improved drinking water and most of the country has improved sanitation facility access.[1] Despite the improved water and sanitation infrastructure, there is little to no wastewater management,[2] which can contribute to poor water quality.
