About Me
Mahdi Zarghami visiting Tufts University, and is associate professor at the University of Tabriz, Iran. His main research and teaching fields are water resources management including water governance. He graduated PhD from Sharif University of Technology, Iran on watershed management at 2007. He was visiting scholar at the University of Arizona and has joint research with Professor Ferenc Szidarovsky. His MSc is from the Institute of Research on Planning and Management, (Tehran, Iran) on urban water planning. He has co-authored 3 books (one in Springer), about 30 journal papers and 66 conference presentations.
Some of the peer refereed papers of Dr Zarghami are published in Water Resources Management, Journal of Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment, Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, ASCE, Water International. He is also member of the IAHS, IWRA and MCDM as scientific communities. He was the session chair in 36th Western Decision Science Inst, 2007 Denver, USA and 3rd national water resources management conference in Iran.
