Adding the text {{Citation needed here}} anywhere in an article or case study will render to the reader:

Given that this sentence makes substantial claims without providing a reference, one might think it needs references added.^{[ citation needed ]}

Additionally, you can provide guidance to the individual editing the page about the type of citation required. You have the option of using: {{Citation needed here | reason= YOUR REASON}}

The "reason" text will only be viewable in the Editor view and will not appear to anyone reading a page.
